"As I said in an earlier post to you, the primary reason I chose the Honda FIT is so that I could tow it behind my motorhome. The procedure in the manual to be followed when the FIT is to be towed is reasonably straightforward and not too difficult with the exception of the necessity to pull one of the fuses (fuse number 61 which is listed as providing power to the radio) prior to towing and then replacing the fuse when subsequently driving the FIT. You try to pull and replace that fuse. Even a contortionist would have difficulty. After some research I discovered the basic reason for pulling the fuse prior to towing the vehicle is so that the battery will not be discharged. There is a device on the market called "TOAD-CHARGER" which is designed to keep the battery in the FIT charged while it is being towed without the necessity of pulling any fuses. The generator in the motorhome will provide charging current for the towed vehicle. I reviewed this with the people who will setup the FIT for towing and, after their review of the device, ordered it and it will be installed as part of the overall towing setup."
