Performance Fit for the States, what do you think?

Mugen Pondering Performance Honda Fit for Europe. Should We Get One?

Mugen Euro’s general manger Colin Whittamore wants to develop a hot-hatch version of the Honda Jazz, know to us in the U.S. as the Honda Fit. The practical five-door hatch isn’t the first car that comes to mind when hearing the words “hot-hatch” but Whittamore wants to develop it.

“Always in the back of our mind as a car that we’d like to do is the Jazz,” Whittamore told AutoCar.

Schomp Honda is Proud to Say We've Received Two More Amazing Reviews on Dealer Rater!

"I enjoyed the no pressure atmosphere. All salespeople were very helpful and very thankful for my business. Very professional environment. I requested additional comparison information and received a detailed comparison the same day. I am very satisfied with Schomp."

"I had an emergency repair on Sat, May 14, when my college daughter's 2006 Element EX was vandalized in Boulder. The passenger side mirror was destroyed and was hanging by a wire. Johnny told me to bring the Element in as soon as possible and he would have it repaired since he had a new one in stock. I only had to wait about 70 minutes or so before the car was repaired, washed, and waiting for me on the west side of the building. The next story is just as complementary. As I was driving the Element away from the dealership, I noticed that Johnny had not replaced the small, round mirror that I had on the damaged mirror. These small, round mirrors go in the corner of the outdoor mirror and help immensely when trying to see if someone is in your blind spot on either the left or right side of the car. I returned to the dealership and Johnny immediately asked me if something was wrong. I told him the problem and he was very frustrated with himself for forgetting about this small, round mirror, which I had discussed with him when I first arrived. He immediately went into the parts area, returned with a single mirror, and proceeded to install it for me on the spot. When I asked him how much I owed him, he said he would take care of it (I noticed a $1.69 price tag on the mirror). Is this fantastic service or what??? I will never consider going to a dealership other than Ralph Schomp to purchase a car. Johnny always treats my wife and I (we also have a 2006 Pilot bot new from Ralph Schomp years ago) with the utmost respect. What a tremendous professional he is and a wonderful ambassador for Ralph Schomp. I hope you keep Johnny in mind when promotions come up at Ralph Schomp. You could not do any better than Johnny Nguyen!!!"

"As always, it is the people of the Schomp company who make the buying/leasing experience at Schomp so absolutely top-notch! And by that I mean ALL the people we come in contact with there upon entering the door, from the people behind the desk to the people just stopping over and asking if we needed anything. I felt like I am being treated as a friend rather than a VIP customer!

I had no doubt we would come back to Schomp to replace our 2005 Civic that was totalled in a recent accident. I knew that we would be treated with utmost courtesy and respect. That we continued to be treated that way well AFTER the doors had closed on a Friday night speaks volumes to me about the business and personal work ethic that is so engrained in the people who work there.

Ed Kabbash is someone we keep coming back to. We were also fortunate to work with a new employee Ken in the finance department. It all boils down to having quality people along every step of the way. And it isn't limited only to them. Thank you all again so much. When we look forward to buying our 10th Honda (under better circumstances) there is no question where we will turn, and we always continue to mention to all our friends, family, co-workers and acquaintances how the Schomp company is the best and only place anyone should ever look for a car, no matter what the make.

I know that the true culture of an organization reflects the leadership at the top -- and so I must say that while I have never personally met someone from either the Schomp family or its general management, I have to think that that leadership is exemplary, because everyone else I have ever dealt with -- at service, at used cars, new cars, finance ... -- every single person seems to stand in pride at how to treat others with stellar service so personally and passionately.

(Would you please do me a favor and email me the names of the two finance people we talked with? They were awesome as well. I know one of the names as Ken, who helped us with all the $$ details -- and the other was a tall man with dark hair and glasses, who spoke with what sounded like a European accent. I failed to get either of their business cards and would like to drop them a line as well!)

Oh, and I love the actual car as well! And the 1-5 scale up above? Everything should really be a 10! Everything.

Sincerely,
Brian Sheehan
