Summary
Summary ESSENTIAL DUTIES Perform all functions necessary to sell our products and services at or above the profitability guidelines established. Continually prospect for new customers and new business using phone, mail, personal contact, referrals, and all other means available to you. Regularly and consistently follow up with all your prospects and customers per organization / departmental guidelines using telephone, mail, personal contact, and other means available to you. This specifically includes regular andsystematic follow up with those who have purchased vehicles from you/us regularly and continuously after they have taken delivery. Continually maintain and upgrade your product knowledge of the products and services you/we sell and of competitive products and services. Together with management, set annual, monthly, weekly, and daily results oriented goals/objectives. Develop and work action plans that achieve those goals/objectives. Assist in the creation and implementation of effective marketing strategies, advertising and promotions to increase sales and profits. Assist in customer relations and in ensuring we maintain the highest attainable levels of Customer Satisfaction. Assist in establishing reasonable and competitive prices for our products and services, and in keeping all order books, price books, price lists, catalogs, and other sales materials, forms, brochures, etc., up-to-date, accurate, distributed and stocked. Assist in ensuring that all manufacturer/supplier programs, warranties, etc., are followed and that required records are kept. Ensure our sales areas, both inside the buildings and outside, present a clean, neat, and professional image. Assist in the collection of past due customer accounts as requested. Use and keep up-to-date accurate records, files, forms, etc. Perform any and all other duties as may be assigned from time to time. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES N/A. JOB PROFILE A Vehicle Salesperson is responsible to serve as the organizations representative in all activities connected with the sales of new and used vehicle, and related products and services to our customers. Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, ability to manage and organize time and activities, professional appearance. Prior experience and/or training in vehicle or big ticket item sales preferred. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or Equivalent CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: VALID DRIVERS LICENSE Current Colorado Sales license. Valid Drivers License PHYSICAL DEMANDS N/A. WORK ENVIRONMENT Perform duties in all weather conditions. Observe all policies and guidelines as set forth by Ralph Schomp Automotive. Attentive to customer needs and responsive to customer inquiries where appropriate. Maintains clean and orderly work area.
